I am a Senior Lecturer in Cultural Studies at the University of Melbourne. My work is in critical femininity studies, and my projects include work on beauty culture, fan studies, feminist theory, and queer theory. You can visit my website here.
I completed my PhD at the Australian National University, in the School of Sociology. At the ANU I was the Gender Institute Inaugural PhD Scholar.
I have lectured and tutored in sociology and gender, sexuality and culture, and my background is philosophy, psychology and political science.

I’m certainly happy for people to translate the work themselves, though I do suggest you find a copy of Gender Trouble and History of Sexuality in the language you are translating to + give references, so that people can find the right page numbers, etc. I’ll email you soon.
